Brick House

Type: Private Residential

Status: Built

Location: Fair Oak, Hampshire

This was the conversion of a 1960s house into a contemporary modern home. The aim was to extend the property to the rear and loft with good garden connections.

A series of large windows capture light and views out to the garden. Each window is designed differently for the space it is in. A full height picture window frames the garden view from the lounge, a large sliding door creates a sense of indoor / outdoor dining and a pop out window seat is in the home office for contemplative and creative thinking.

These large windows along with roof lights mean that the extension experiences direct day light almost throughout the day.
