This project is the refurbishment and extension of a late 20th century suburban house in Southampton. It sits perched on a small hill with a steep incline up from the road. The house is a 1980s buff and red brick building with later side and garage extensions of poor construction and design consideration.

Our approach was to replace and extend these elements while also improving the external appearance of the original house. The new extension to the south includes a garage, entrance hall, sunroom and small utility, while the one to the north includes a bedroom extension and small home office taking advantage of the views out.
